Lamplighter

What it does

Caves are dark and placing torches every few blocks is slow. Hold the ever lantern and the area around you stays lit while you move, then goes back to normal once you put it away. It costs one iron, one torch and two glass.

How to use it

• ▸The light follows you, so you never have to place it down.
• ▸Hold or wear the glowing item and light follows you.

How to install

1. Open the downloaded file with Minecraft. It imports both packs on its own.
2. Edit your world and turn the add-on on under Behavior Packs.
3. Its resource pack turns on with it. There is no second pack to find.

Minecraft turns off achievements in any world with a behavior pack on, and warns you when you add one. That is the game’s rule for every add-on, not something this one does.
