What it does

Harvesting a field means breaking every crop and then placing every seed back, which is the slowest part of farming. Tap a grown wheat, carrot, potato or beetroot with the sickle and it is picked and replanted where it stood, along with up to eight more grown crops touching it in the same plot. Only fully grown crops are taken, so a field you tap twice is not set back. Each crop costs the sickle a point of durability.

How to use it

• ▸Only the sickle does it; breaking a crop by hand still works the way it always did.
• ▸A crop that is not fully grown is left alone, so you can tap along a row safely.
• ▸Use a fully grown crop to harvest it and put a fresh one back in the same spot, up to 9 at a time.

How to install

1. Open the downloaded file with Minecraft. It imports both packs on its own.
2. Edit your world and turn the add-on on under Behavior Packs.
3. Its resource pack turns on with it. There is no second pack to find.

Minecraft turns off achievements in any world with a behavior pack on, and warns you when you add one. That is the game’s rule for every add-on, not something this one does.
