Four kitchens, each built in Minecraft Bedrock from real ModChest furniture and photographed in the game. Every piece below is a block you can place, and two of the kitchens are free to build.
A modern sage kitchen with an island
White cabinets run along the back wall under a band of sage tile, with the oven tower and the fridge at one end and the cooktop under its chimney hood. A three-block terrazzo island stands one block out from the counter, with bar stools on the near side and a small breakfast table beside it.

A simple starter kitchen, free to build
The quickest kitchen here: five base cabinets in a row make the counter, two floating shelves hang above it, and a round dining table with two chairs fills the middle. A monstera planter and a globe floor lamp finish the corners.

Tips for building a Minecraft kitchen
- Run the counter along one wall
- Line cabinets, the sink and the cooker up against the back wall at floor level. It reads as a kitchen at a glance and leaves the middle of the room for a table or an island.
- Tile one band for a splashback
- Replace one row of wall blocks, the one just above the counter, with tile. The rest of the wall stays plain, which is what makes the tile look deliberate.
- Leave a block above the cooker
- Hang the range hood two blocks above the cooktop, not one, so the space between them stays open the way it would over a real stove. Wall cabinets go at the same height as the hood.
- Keep a one-block walkway
- An island one block out from the counter leaves exactly enough floor to walk between them, and stools on the open side face the island.
- Put small things on the counter
- A toaster, a kettle or a fruit bowl placed on top of a cabinet makes a counter look used. One or two per run is enough.
