Tips for building a Minecraft library
- Line a whole wall with shelves
- Shelves along the full back wall say library at a glance; two rows high is enough in a room four blocks tall.
- Put the desk in the middle
- A desk facing out into the room, with its chair behind it, gives the room a centre.
- Make a reading corner
- An armchair with a lamp or a small table beside it turns a spare corner into a place to sit.
- Add a few curiosities
- A globe, a telescope or a grandfather clock among the shelves makes a library feel lived in.
