What it does
Craft a dining table, writing desk, cushioned stool, armchair, low bench and bookcase from oak planks and a few extras. Each piece faces you when you place it. To turn one, break it and place it again: it always drops itself.

Use the stool, armchair or bench to sit down, 1 player per seat, and crouch to stand up. The bookcase holds 27 stacks. Use it while holding a plain stick to move every stack from your main inventory onto its shelves, or use it with anything else to take them back. Your hotbar is never touched, names and enchantments stay on your items, and anyone can use the same bookcase. Break it and everything inside drops too. The table and desk are for decoration, and the bookcase doesn't boost enchanting. Seats and the bookcase don't work in Adventure mode, and pistons can't move them.

How to install Chestnut Furniture
- Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
- At a crafting table, combine in any arrangement (oak planks only): dining table = 4 oak planks, 2 sticks, 1 copper ingot; writing desk = 4 oak planks, 1 paper, 1 feather, 1 copper ingot; stool = 2 oak planks, 2 sticks, 1 cyan wool; armchair = 3 oak planks, 2 cyan wool, 1 copper ingot; bench = 3 oak planks, 2 sticks, 1 cyan wool; bookcase = 4 oak planks, 3 books, 1 copper ingot.
- Each piece faces you when you place it, so stand on the side its front should face. To turn it later, break it and place it again.
- Stand next to a seat and use it (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to sit. Crouch to stand up.
- Hold a plain stick and use the bookcase to store the stacks in your main inventory. Use it with an empty hand or any other item to take them back into empty main-inventory slots; whatever doesn't fit stays on the shelves.

Which version do I have?
Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
