About this world

Gather at the console on the lobby slab and crouch beside it for a second and a half, or use it. After a 3-second countdown every runner starts on the first stage: a vault floor of wide copper decks. Land on the pad under the lit gate at the far end and the stage is banked, your time is called out and you are sent to the head of the next one.

The twelve stages change under you. Signal Green narrows to three-block pads that swing left and right, Quarry Cut climbs a block at a time and comes back down, Foundry Bay drops to the narrowest decks in the world, Deep Strata sinks below the start and Rift Hollow leaves nothing between two pads but three floating stones. A fall returns only that runner to their own stage and adds 5 seconds; landing on some other stage's gate counts as a fall too, so the stages have to be run in order.

Every runner keeps a separate timer and fall count. A runner who finishes waits while the others carry on or crouches by the console for 3 seconds to end the round for everyone, and the lowest completed time including penalties wins. Personal bests survive Save & Quit, and reopening an interrupted run puts each runner back on the stage they reached with a fresh countdown. Late arrivals wait for the next heat. The world is in Adventure mode so its blocks cannot be broken, and hunger is topped up while you run.

How to play Catwalk Climb

  1. Open the .mcworld file and let Minecraft import Catwalk Climb, then choose it from Play > Worlds. No experiments or pack setup are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. Gather on the lobby slab when every runner is ready. Use the console block in the middle of it (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens), or crouch beside it for 1.5 seconds.
  3. Wait for the 3-second countdown, then jump from pad to pad and land on the platform under the lit gate at the end of the stage. It banks your time and sends you to the next stage.
  4. After a fall, run your current stage again with 5 seconds added. After the last stage, read your completed time in chat. Once everyone has finished or left, use the console for a rematch. To leave a run, crouch in the middle of your stage's first pad for 5 seconds; once you have finished, crouch by the console for 3 seconds to end the round for everyone.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the world.
