What it does

Line up banquet table ends and middles for a table of any length, pull up dining chairs, captain's armchairs and hall benches, and set a round pedestal table for smaller meals. Store supplies in the china hutch, sideboard buffet and pantry cupboard, hang an iron chandelier from the ceiling and a plate rack, candle sconce and heraldic banner on the walls, and build the stone hearth into a wall. Place settings, a roast platter, a cake stand, a bread and cheese board, a fruit centerpiece and a candle runner dress the table, and Rowanfield Flagstone Floor paves the hall. Every piece turns to face you when you place it and drops itself when broken.

The hutch, sideboard and pantry store 27 stacks each: use one while holding a plain stick to put away every stack in your main inventory, or with anything else to take them back. Your hotbar is never touched. The chandelier, candelabra, wall sconce and hearth start lit; use one to put it out or light it again. Use the heraldic banner to change its design, and use the cider barrel with an empty bottle or bucket to fill it with water. Chairs, armchairs and benches seat 1 player each; crouch to stand up. Breaking a storage piece drops everything inside it. The hearth doesn't cook food, the candles never set anything alight, and pistons can't move storage pieces or seats.

  • 24 dining hall pieces, each placeable facing 4 directions
  • 3 storage pieces holding 27 stacks each
  • Chandelier at light level 15, hearth at 13, candelabra and sconce at 12
  • Banquet table ends and middles for tables of any length
  • 3 seats: dining chair, captain's armchair and hall bench
  • Banner with 4 designs and a barrel tap that pours water

How to install Medieval Dining Hall

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. Craft each piece at a crafting table. A recipe appears in the recipe book once you pick up its main material: spruce planks or spruce slabs for most furniture, candles for the candelabra and sconce, iron ingots for the chandelier and cobblestone for the hearth.
  3. Each piece faces you when you place it, so stand on the side its front should face. For a long table, place a table end, then middles, then another table end placed from the far side, so it faces the opposite way. Hang the chandelier from a ceiling block. To turn a piece later, break it and place it again.
  4. Use a piece (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to work it: sit on a chair or bench, light or put out a candle or the hearth, change the banner's design, or fill a bottle or bucket at the cider barrel. Crouch to stand up from a seat.
  5. Hold a plain stick and use the hutch, sideboard or pantry to store the stacks in your main inventory. Use it with an empty hand or any other item to take them back; whatever doesn't fit stays inside.
  6. Crouch when you place a block against a piece, so you don't use the piece instead.
