What it does

Craft the sickle, aim it at wheat, carrots, potatoes or beetroot up to 5 blocks away, and use it. Every fully grown plant in the 3×3 patch around that plant, on the same level, is harvested and replanted as a seedling. Young plants are left to keep growing.

Harvests are always the same: each wheat or beetroot plant gives 1 crop and 1 seed, and each carrot or potato plant gives 2, with the replanting already paid for. The sickle has 256 durability, uses 1 for each plant it harvests, and breaks when it runs out. It doesn’t work on other crops such as Nether wart or cocoa, or in Adventure mode.

  • 3×3 patch harvested and replanted in 1 use
  • 4 crops: wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroot
  • 256 durability, 1 point per plant harvested
  • Same harvest every time: 1 wheat or beetroot plus 1 seed, or 2 carrots or potatoes
  • 5-block reach; young plants are never touched

How to install Replanting Sickle

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world’s settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. Craft at a crafting table: iron ingots in the top-middle and top-right, a stick in the center, a copper ingot in the middle-right, and a stick in the bottom-left.
  3. Aim at wheat, carrots, potatoes or beetroot within 5 blocks and use the sickle (right-click on Windows, tap Harvest crops on touch screens).
  4. Pick up the drops. The harvested plants start again as seedlings and grow as normal.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
