What it does

Pick a crop by crouching and using the Seed Sower: it cycles through wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroot, and the tooltip shows your choice. Then aim at empty farmland and use it to plant the 3×3 patch around that block.

Each crop planted takes 1 matching seed, carrot or potato from your inventory and 1 of the tool's 256 durability points. Spots that already have a plant, or aren't farmland, are skipped. Planting stops when you run out of seeds or the tool breaks. Renamed seeds stay in your inventory. It doesn't till soil or make crops grow faster.

  • Plants up to 9 crops per use in a 3×3 patch
  • 4 crops: wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroot
  • 1 seed and 1 durability point per crop planted

  • Reaches farmland up to 5 blocks away

How to install Seed Sower

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. At a crafting table, combine 2 copper ingots, 1 hopper and 1 stick in any arrangement to make a Seed Sower.
  3. Carry seeds, carrots or potatoes. Crouch and use the Seed Sower (right-click on Windows, tap Sow / select crop on touch screens) to switch crops. It starts on wheat.
  4. Aim at empty farmland up to 5 blocks away and use it without crouching. The message above your hotbar shows how many crops were planted.

Which version do I have?

Minecraft Bedrock shows its version number in the bottom-right corner of the main menu. Everything on ModChest is built for Bedrock 1.26.45 and newer, on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows. If your number is lower, update Minecraft from the store you installed it from, then import the mod.
