What it does

Craft a Desert Riding Bird Calling Token and use it on the ground to call the bird. Until it is tamed, it wanders around and walks toward anyone holding wheat. Feed it 1 wheat and hearts appear: it is now yours. Its teal saddle cloth is already on, so there is nothing to equip.

Use the bird with an empty hand to climb on, steer with your normal movement controls, and crouch to get off. When you are not riding, it follows you. It has 28 health, and each wheat you feed it restores 4. It walks but can't fly, and it can't breed. Any player can ride your bird. It never spawns on its own, and if it dies it drops nothing, not even the saddle you crafted it with.

How to install Desert Riding Bird

Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
At a crafting table, combine 1 saddle, 2 feathers, 2 wheat, 1 leather and 1 emerald in any arrangement to make a Desert Riding Bird Calling Token.
Use the token on open ground (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to call the bird. The token is used up.
Hold wheat and use it on the bird to tame it. Feed it more wheat to heal it.
With an empty hand, use the bird (right-click on Windows, press Mount on touch screens) to climb on. Steer with your movement controls and crouch to get off.
