What it does

Explore a forest in daylight to meet Ankylosaurus and Triceratops, or craft an egg and use it on a block to hatch one where you build. A sweet berry tames an Ankylosaurus: it follows you, sits or stands when you use it with an empty hand, heals on berries, and two fed adults raise a half-size young that grows up in 20 minutes. Wheat tames a Triceratops, and once it is yours you can climb into its saddle and steer it through the trees.

After dark, Raptors slip out of the forest in ones and twos and chase any player they see. Craft a Tyrannosaurus Fossil to summon the boss: it shows a boss bar, winds up each heavy bite, shrugs off most knockback and never despawns, and below half health it turns faster and bites harder. Pets and mounts do not fight for you, and only one player can ride a Triceratops at a time.

How to install Dinosaur Ranch

Activate both Dinosaur Ranch packs when creating or editing a world. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
Look for Ankylosaurus and Triceratops in forests by day and Raptors in forests at night, or craft an egg at a crafting table and use it on a block: an Ankylosaurus Egg from an egg, sweet berries and a moss block; a Triceratops Egg from an egg, 2 wheat, leather and a bone; a Raptor Egg from an egg, a bone, rotten flesh and a feather.
Use sweet berries on an Ankylosaurus to tame it, then use it with an empty hand (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to make it sit or stand. Feed two tamed adults for a young one.
Use wheat on a Triceratops to tame it, then use it with an empty hand to climb on. Steer with the movement controls and crouch to get off.
Craft a Tyrannosaurus Fossil from 4 bone blocks, an iron block, an emerald and a gold ingot, and use it on a block to summon the boss. It drops 4 bone blocks and 3 emeralds when defeated.
