What it does

Set a window into a wall, stand a front door beside it and hang louvered shutters next to both, then put an attic window up in the gable. Stand corner posts at the front of the house, run porch railings between them, carry a porch beam across the top and lay a porch step at the door. Finish the roofline with an eaves board and a gable trim, put a plaster arch over an inside doorway, hang a window planter of flowers under a window, and cover the walls with whitewashed plaster. Every part turns to face you when you place it and drops itself when broken.

Use the porch lantern to put it out or light it again: it comes lit at light level 14. Use the window to change its glazing between clear panes, diamond leaded panes and a colored flower. Use the built-in cupboard while holding a plain stick to put away every stack in your main inventory, or with anything else to take them back; your hotbar is never touched, and breaking the cupboard drops everything inside. The window bench seats 1 player, and you crouch to stand up. The rest is decoration: the front door and the shutters don't open, the glass is painted on so you can't see through a window, a bench is not a spawn point, and pistons can't move the cupboard or the bench.

  • 16 parts in plain oak, spruce and whitewashed plaster, each placeable facing 4 directions
  • 2 windows, a front door, shutters, a railing, a corner post, a porch beam, eaves and gable trim
  • 1 window with 3 glazing designs, changed by using it
  • 1 porch lantern at light level 14, switchable, lit when you place it
  • 1 built-in cupboard holding 27 stacks and 1 window bench seating 1 player
  • 4 whitewashed plaster wall blocks from one craft

How to install Simple House Parts

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. Craft each part at a crafting table. A recipe appears in the recipe book once you pick up its main material: oak planks for the window, cupboard, railing, arch and plaster wall, oak logs for the corner post and porch beam, oak slabs for the porch lantern, shutters, attic window, eaves board, gable trim and porch step, and spruce planks for the front door, window bench and window planter.
  3. Each part faces you when you place it, so stand on the side its front should face. Windows, the door, the arch and the plaster wall fill a block in a wall; shutters, the cupboard, the eaves board, the gable trim and the planter sit against one. To turn a part later, break it and place it again.
  4. Use a part (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to work it: switch the porch lantern, change the window's glazing, or sit on the window bench. Crouch to stand up from the bench.
  5. Hold a plain stick and use the built-in cupboard to store the stacks in your main inventory. Use it with an empty hand or any other item to take them back; whatever doesn't fit stays inside.
  6. Crouch when you place a block against a part, so you don't use the part instead.
