What it does

Start at the pavement and work up. Set a brick bay window and a panelled front door with its amber fanlight into your wall, add a sash window, an arched window and a slate dormer above them, then stand turned porch posts on a granite step with a fretwork spandrel between them and carved brackets under the eaves. Run cast iron railings and a garden gate along the front with finial posts at the ends, clip a balconette under an upstairs window, and cap the roof with slate mansard trim, iron cresting, a fretwork gable board and a corbelled chimney stack with clay pots. A corbelled brick cornice finishes the wall head, and Terrace Banded Brick and Terrace Porch Tile fill in the walls and the path, 4 blocks to a craft. Every part turns to face you when you place it and drops itself when broken.

Use the gas lamp or the wall lamp to put it out and light it again; lit, they sit at light level 15 and 13. Use the stained glass transom to show the next of its 3 leaded patterns. The coal store holds 27 stacks: use it while holding a plain stick to put away every stack in your main inventory, or with anything else to take them back, and breaking it drops everything inside. Sit on the porch step, and crouch to stand up. This is a set of separate parts you place by hand, so nothing appears on its own and nothing is prebuilt. The windows, the door and the gate are solid decoration: the door does not open, the gate does not swing, and you cannot see through the glass. A seat is not a spawn point, and pistons cannot move the coal store or the porch step.

  • 24 Victorian building parts, each placeable facing 4 directions
  • 2 gas lamps you switch out and on, at light level 15 and 13
  • 1 stained glass transom cycling through 3 leaded patterns
  • 1 coal store holding 27 stacks, and a porch step that seats 1 player
  • 4 banded brick or encaustic porch tile blocks per craft, for walls and paths

How to install Victorian House Parts

  1. Import the .mcaddon, then turn on both packs in your world's settings (Behavior Packs and Resource Packs). No experiments are needed. Needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.45 or later.
  2. Craft each part at a crafting table. A recipe appears in the recipe book once you pick up its main material: bricks for the bay window, sash and arched windows, chimney stack, brick cornice, coal store, banded brick and porch tile; deepslate bricks for the dormer window, mansard trim and porch step; copper ingots for both lamps, the railing, the gate, the finial post, the balconette and the roof cresting; dark oak slabs for the front door, stained glass transom, porch post, spandrel, eaves bracket and gable board.
  3. Each part faces you when you place it, so stand on the side its front should face. Windows, the front door, the eaves bracket and the cornice have a brick back that sits flush in a wall; put the transom above a doorway, the dormer on a roof slope, the balconette against a wall under a window and the wall lamp against a wall. To turn a part later, break it and place it again.
  4. Use a part (right-click on Windows, tap on touch screens) to work it: light or put out the gas lamp or the wall lamp, change the transom glass, or sit on the porch step. Crouch to stand up.
  5. Hold a plain stick and use the coal store to put the stacks in your main inventory away inside it. Use it with an empty hand or any other item to take them back; whatever doesn't fit stays inside.
  6. Crouch when you place a block against a part, so you don't use the part instead.
